The work they did on our floors was really incredible.

We had terrible hardwood floors that had spent years (decades?) languishing beneath carpet, asbestos tiles, and plywood. The wood had been painted in some sections, and was entirely missing in a few places.

These folks somehow got all of the paint off, and brought out the beauty in these old floors, as well as filling in the gaps with almost perfectly matched wood! We were very impressed with quality and speed of the work.

Like all good things, you may have to wait a bit to get on their schedule but service delivered as communicated and agreed upon. Affordable and great finished result.

On-site team could have been a bit more communicative regarding step-by-step, daily 'what to expect' and some finish details were less than perfect.

Nonetheless, have plans to hire again for additional work next year.

I'm really happy with the results from Paul and the team at New Generations, who have worked on two floor restoration projects for our historic home.

In the first project, we installed red oak flooring because we could not restore the original floors due to their poor condition.

For the second project, the original pine floors were salvageable, and just needed sanding and refinishing to restore them to their former glory.

I would definitely recommend New Generations Hardwood floors: the team are quick and reliable — they just come in and get it done. Paul is quick to respond and his eye for restoring St. Louis' historic homes is outstanding.
